Straight answers.
What Pulse is, what it isn’t, and where the edges are — without the marketing gloss.
Is Pulse available now?
Not generally. Pulse is pre-release and in a private pilot with a small number of delivery teams. You can request early access and we’ll talk about whether it fits how you work.
Does Pulse write anything back to Asana?
No. Pulse is read-only. It requests six read scopes, and it never creates tasks, changes status or writes back in any way.
Do I need custom fields or a special Asana setup?
No. Pulse is useful on a normal Asana workspace using native fields — dates, status updates, milestones, dependencies, owners and assignees. Custom fields are not required.
Is this AI?
No. Findings come from eleven deterministic, versioned rules, and every one shows the evidence it read and the rule that raised it. There is no opaque model deciding what matters.
Will Pulse predict that a project is going to fail?
No. It surfaces evidence that a project may be slipping and how urgently to look. It does not claim to predict failure, and it separates delivery risk from data confidence so a messy workspace isn’t mistaken for a failing one.
What data does Pulse read?
Only what those six read scopes cover, and only for the teams, portfolios and projects you put in scope. Tokens are encrypted and kept server-side. See the Security page for detail.
Can I get the weekly brief by email?
Not yet. The weekly brief is generated on demand and read in the dashboard. Scheduled email delivery is a later decision, not part of the pilot.
What does Pulse cost?
Pricing isn’t set. The pilot is about whether Pulse earns a place in your Monday morning — not about signing you up to a plan.
Which tools does Pulse work with?
Asana, for now. There’s no Jira, Monday.com or ClickUp integration, and none is implied.
Who is Pulse for?
Heads of Delivery, Professional Services leaders, PMO and operations managers — anyone accountable for multiple projects, project managers and engineers in Asana.
